UKs first 4G LTE network run by EE (Everything Everywhere) have announced that by march 2013 they will have enabled LTE in 17 more cities added on the 18 they already have.
EE last week flipped the switch giving Derby, Newcastle and Nottingham LTE coverage. It plans to do the same for Belfast, Hull, Maidenhead and Slough before the end of the year.
The cities that are going to be getting 4G in the first quarter of next year are Bradford, Chelmsford, Coventry, Doncaster, Dudley, Leicester, Luton, Newport, Reading, Rotherham, St Albans, Sunderland, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Watford, West Bromwich and Wolverhampton.
4 million people in the UK now have access to LTE and it's not stopping there. Three and Vodafone will be rolling out their LTE in summer 2013.
